Base Design and Colour Variation

The initial sketch idea was to highlight some sort of Crime-esque approach. We wanted to put Vignette filter into this look, so a VHS- 90s crime music video look.

Drafted art and Colour theory

We then tried to make colour pallete variations. I played a lot of Colour Theory into this work. Opposite colours, variation of shades, and what these colour look like when a filter is added.

Variation of Sketch

We then went through sketch variations. We brainstormed ideas involving ‘Detective work’ and ‘Crime Solving’. The Detective boards we see in movies were the main framework we used. These intricate RED LINES used to connect the pieces of evidence and crime give rise to the title of the song 'MadMan', as the red strings highlight MM. The visual representation of these intertwined elements captures the essence of the song's theme, setting the stage for a compelling narrative of mystery.

Final Edit - Variation

Filter definitely played a big role in this work. I tried to see variation of light and shade. The RED added a lot of shadow, but without it, the White brings out most of the main Red string. We looked for more option and variations in style. We finally agreed upon adding texture and brighten the Red strings.

Thumbnail - Variation of Street Wear

The album idea focuses on showcasing the diverse styles of music from the artists featured on the track. Each verse has a unique rap and vocals style, highlighting each artist's street-style approach. This is one of 3 main songs the producer/ artist Emmanuel wanted to show the different sides of creativity and talent of artists coming together to celebrate their individuality.
